Realmente quedamos muy sorprendidos con la excelente comida, concepto y atención de este restaurante, la comida es deliciosa y tiene elementos muy diferentes que le dan un toque especial a los platillos clásicos, la atención es inmejorable, te explican todo sobre el restaurante, platillos y recomendaciones, es lugar buenísimo para conocer y explorar la comida del bajio. Excelente experiencia. Sigan así.

Una cocina espectacular que vale la pena descubrir. Probamos el Guacamole del desierto. El Chile ancho relleno de cerdo ahumado con risotto de cebada y huitlacoche. La Trucha con huatapé verde; y, El Filete de res en ajillo de cilantro con verdolagas. Cada platillo destaca por su creatividad, sabor y presentación. Una propuesta culinaria que en verdad enaltece ingredientes mexicanos con técnicas contemporáneas. Sin embargo, la propuesta de bebidas es demasiado estricta: no cuentan con refrescos, ni con destilados convencionales como ron o whisky, y hasta un simple carajillo se prepara únicamente con licor de maíz. Esa visión tan purista puede resultar un obstáculo para muchos comensales, y limitar la experiencia. Aun así, si vas con la mente abierta y el paladar curioso, El Encuentro es uno de los secretos gastronómicos de Querétaro.

The Irish Mexican Chamber of Commerce held its inaugural dinner for 40 people at El Encuentro and we enjoyed a wonderful evening. We started with a cocktail reception in the bar area with live harpist and violinist. We later enjoyed a delicious three-course meal, including charcuturie starter, a choice of fillet of beef, trout or huitlacoche and mushroom lasagna and a wonderful chocolate dessert. Local wine and beers complemented the food and we closed the meal with Irish coffees for the special occasion. The service was smooth and professional and we can't wait to come back for another meal. El Encuentro is really putting Queretaro on the map for excellent food and service.

El Encuentro has raised the bar on dining out in Querétaro. Located in Centro, the spacious and beautifully designed space is only surpassed by the exquisiteness of the food and attentive service. Our table ordered a variety of dishes from the menu - including trout with polenta, vegetarian lasagna with huitlacoche, venison - and everyone was impressed with the quality & presentation of our meals. El Encuentro really shines a light on the produce & artisans of the Bajio region, in both its food & drink options. Saturday night dining was perfectly complemented by music from an accomplished cellist from Guanajuato. This place is now top of my list for places to dine in Querétaro, either for dinner or as a regular brunch venue.

Wonderful experience where we thoroughly enjoyed the excellent food and tasty Mexcal at very reasonable prices plus the added bonus of the Irish Dancing performance. Will definitely come back soon to try out different items from the menu. Congratulations El Encuentro, Querétaro has another excellent culinary option in downtown
